Supported Features

The Okta/Shortcut SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO

Configuration Steps

1. Contact the Shortcut Support team (support@shortcut.com) and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account. Also, ask for Organization ID and Workspace Slug (required for the SP-initiated SSO) values.

2. Include the following Metadata URL with your request:

   Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

3. The Shortcut Support team will process your request and provide you with Organization ID and Workspace Slug values.

4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Shortcut SAML app, then click Edit:

   • Scroll down to Advanced Sign-on Settings.

   • Enter your Company ID into the corresponding field.

   • Click Save.

5. Done!

Notes

SP-initiated SSO

1. Go to https://app.shortcut.com/sso

2. Enter your Workspace Slug.

3. Click Log in with SSO.
