Supported Features

The Okta/Remote.It SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Sign in to Remote.It.

2. Go to Organization > Settings.

3. To be able to enable SAML, you must have access to your DNS settings for your domain. Once your domain is entered, you'll be presented with a custom CNAME host name and VALUE. Once the DNS records have been validated, you can move forward with importing the metadata file.

4. Go to SAML CONFIGURATION, then enter the following:

   • Upload your metadata file to enable SAML: Upload the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

   • Click Enable.

5. Done!

Notes

• Since the only SP-initiated flow is supported, we recommend hiding the application icon for users.

• The following SAML attributes are supported:

  Name	Value
  email	user.email

SP-initiated SSO

1. Go to: https://app.remote.it/.

2. Enter your email.

3. Click SIGN IN.
