Supported Features

The Okta/Paylocity SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• IdP-initiated SSO

Configuration Steps

1. Contact the Paylocity Support team (service@paylocity.com) and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

2. Save, then attach the following Metadata file to your request:

   Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

3. The Paylocity Support team will process your request and provide you with the Paylocity Entity and Paylocity Partner Entity values. After receiving a confirmation email, you can start assigning people to the application.

4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Paylocity SAML app, then click Edit.

   • Enter your Paylocity Entity and Paylocity Partner Entity values provided to you by Paylocity into the corresponding fields.

   • Click Save:

   
5. Done!
