How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Otter.ai

Supported Features

The Okta/Otter.ai SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Log in to Otter.ai as an administrator.

  2. Click on your account, then select My Team:

    click on your account and select My Team

  3. Go to Settings & Security > SAML Authentication, then click Configure:

  4. Enter the following:

    • Your Otter team handle: Make a copy of this value.

    • SAML Endpoint: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Identity Provider Issuer: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Public Certificate: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.
    • Click Save configuration & Enable:

  5. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Otter.ia app, then click Edit.

    • Your Otter team handle: Enter the value you made a copy of earlier (step 4).

    • Click Save:

  6. Done!


Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:


SP-initiated SSO

  1. Go to: https://otter.ai/signin

  2. Enter your Email, then click Sign in:

    go to: https://otter.ai/signin, enter email, click Sign in

  3. Click Login in with SSO:

    Click log in with SSO
