Supported Features

The Okta/HackerRank SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO

Configuration Steps

1. Send an email to the HackerRank support team at support@hackerrank.com and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

2. Include the following Metadata URL:

   Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

3. HackerRank will provide you with the Unique ID that you will need to enter in Okta (see next step).

4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the HackerRank app, then click Edit.

   • Enter the Unique ID provided by HackerRank into the SSO unique ID field.

   • Click Save.

   

5. Done!

SP-initiated SSO

1. Go to: https://www.hackerrank.com/work/login.

2. Enter your email address.
3. Click Log in.
