How to Configure SAML 2.0 for GlobalMeet Webcast Admin

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the GlobalMeet Webcast Admin Support team (support@webcasts.com) and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Include the following Metadata URL with your request:

    Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

  3. The GlobalMeet Webcast Admin Support team will process your request and will provide you with your Relay State value.

  4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the TigerConnect Secure Messenger SAML app, then click Edit.

    • Default Relay State: Enter the Relay State from step 3.

    • Application username format: Select Email.

    • Click Save.

  5. Now you can start assigning people to the application.

  6. Done!


Notes

Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Subdomain field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to GlobalMeet Webcast Admin.
