Supported Features

The Okta/Fivetran SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Log in to Fivetran.

2. Go to Settings and enter the following:

   • Name: Enter a preferred name.

   • Select Enable SAML authentication.

   • Select Enable user provisioning if you want to enable just-in-time provisioning.

     Note: If you assigned the Fivetran app to a user who doesn't have a corresponding Fivetran user, you need to grant them write access after they have been automatically provisioned in your Fivetran account.

   • Sign on URL: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Issuer: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Public certificate: Copy and paste the following (text format):

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Application identifier (Entity ID): Make sure the Fivetran value is specified.

   • Click SAVE CONFIG:

3. Done!

Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:

Name	Value
FirstName	user.firstName
LastName	user.lastName
Email	user.email

SP-initiated SSO

1. Go to https://fivetran.com/login

2. Enter your email, then click Continue.
