The Okta/Fastly SAML integration currently supports the following features:
Log in to your Fastly account as administrator.
Click on your use name, then select Account from the dropdown menu:
Select Single Sign On from the left navigation pane.
Click Add SAML Configuration.
Enter the following:
Identity Provider: Select Okta from the dropdown.
Make a note of the SSO Token.
Download and save the following as fastly_metadata.xml:
Sign in to Okta Admin app to have this variable generated for you.
Click Browse for the Metadata File and upload the file you just saved.
Click Save and Enable SSO.
In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Fastly SAML app, then click Edit.
Uncheck Disable Force Authentication.
Enter the SSO token you made a copy of in step 5 into the corresponding field.
Click Save:
Done!
Force Authentication may be required for certain features within Fastly. Ensure you’ve accurately and completely followed the steps above to ensure all features function appropriately.
