Supported Features

The Okta/[AppName] SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just-In-Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the [AppName] SAML app, go to Sign on methods > SAML 2.0 > Metadata details, and then locate and copy your Metadata URL.

2. Sign in to [AppName].

3. Go to Admin > Settings > SAML SSO.

4. Enter the following:

   • ENABLE SAML SSO: Select Yes

   • IDP Provider: Select Okta

   • Metadata URL: Paste the Metadata URL (step 1).

   • Click Save Changes

5. Done!

Notes

• Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Subdomain field under the General tab. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to [AppName].

• The following SAML attributes are supported:

  User.lastName	user.firstName
  User.email	user.email

SP-initiated SSO

1. Go to: https://[your-subdomain].example.com/

2. Click Login with Okta.
