Supported Features

The Okta/Avid Secure SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Contact the Avid Secure Support team at support@avidsecure.io and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your organization. Also ask them to provide you with the Company ID value.

2. Include the following Metadata URLwith your request:

   Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

3. The Avid Secure Support team will process your request and provide you with the Company ID value.

4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Avid Secure SAML app, then click Edit.

   • Scroll down to the ADVANCED SIGN-ON SETTINGS section.

   • Enter the Company ID value from step 3 into the corresponding field.

   • Click Save:

   

5. Done!

Where [companyId] is your Company ID value from step 3.
