How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Retrium


Read this before you enable SAML

Enabling SAML will affect all users who use this application, which means that users will not be able to sign-in through their regular log-in page. They will only be able to access the app through the Okta service.

Backup URL

Retrium does not provide a backup log-in URL where users can sign-in using their normal username and password. Contact Retrium support to turn off SAML, if necessary.

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the Retrium Support team at support@retrium.com and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Along with your request, provide the Retrium Support team with the domain for your enterprise email account as well as the following:

    • Login URL/SignOn URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • x.509 Certificate: Download, then upload the following in .cert format:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

  3. The Retrium Support team will provide you with a Connection Name.

  4. After receiving a confirmation email from Retrium, back in Okta, select the General tab for the Retrium app, then click Edit.

    • Enter the Connection Name provided to you by Retrium into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save.

  5. Done!

Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:

SP-initiated SSO

  1. Go to: https://app.retrium.com/login

  2. After you enter your username, you will see a note saying that single sign-on is enabled.
