Rally supports hybrid SSO, as well as SSO-only mode. If you use SSO-only mode, it will impact all of your users. It is recommended that you ask Rally support to configure hybrid SSO while you are testing the integration. Once testing is completed to your satisfaction, you can contact Rally support to switch to SSO-only mode if you opt to do so.
The Okta/Rally SAML integration currently supports the following features:
Contact Support to open a new support ticket. Ask them to enable SAML 2.0 Single Sign-On for your account and provide the following information in the service request:
Attach IDP metadata to the ticket:
Sign in to Okta Admin app to have this variable generated for you.
Verify that you can log in through your IdP endpoint.
Provide your users with the re-direct URL for your users to log in to Rally through SSO.
