How to Configure SAML 2.0 for iPass Open Mobile

The Okta/iPass Open Mobile SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Send an email to iPass Support and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Attach the following IDP Metadata to the email:

  3. iPass will process your request. Once you receive a confirmation email, you can start assigning people to the application.

  4. Done!

Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:


SP-initiated SSO

The application only works through the native iPass Open Mobile client.

To install the iPass Open Mobile client:

  1. Download the iPass Open Mobile client from http://www.ipass.com/download-mobile-client/

  2. Use the SSO credentials to activate your service.
