How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Workstars

1. Sign into your Workstars account.

2. Navigate to Settings > Sign On, then click Setup adjacent to Single Sign On (SAML):

   

3. Select Okta:

4. Enter the following information (see screen shot at end of step for reference):

   • SAML SSO URL: Copy the following URL, but remove the https:// portion, then paste into this field.

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Identity Provider Entity ID: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

   • x.509 Certificate: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Remote Logout URL: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Click Confirm:

   

5. Click Enable:

   

6. In Okta, select the General tab for the Workstars app, then click Edit.

   • Enter your Subdomain into the corresponding field.

   • Click Save.

   

7. Done!

Notes:

SP-initiated flows and IDP-initiated flows are supported.

Just in Time (JIT) provisioning is not supported.

For SP-initiated Flows

1. Go to: https://[your-workstars-subdomain].workstars.com.

2. Click OKTA.
