How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Vistara-IT

1. Sign in to Vistara-IT as an Administrator.

2. Select Setup on the top menu, as shown below.

   

3. In the Authentication Mechanism section, select Click here to configure, as shown below.

   

4. Select Enable Single Sign-On Authentication, as shown below.
5. Select Okta for the SAML provider, as shown below.
6. Enter the following values, in the Upload SSO Provider Information to Vistara section, as shown below:
   • Issuer URL – Copy and paste the following:Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.
   • Redirection URL – Copy and paste the following:Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.
   • Logout URL – Copy and paste the following:Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • X.509 Certificate – Copy and paste the following Certificate. Be sure to include the Begin Certificate and End Certificate lines.

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

      

     

7. Select Finish.
8. Done!

Note: Only SP-initiated flows are supported. To use an SP-initiated flow, navigate to https://[yourSubdomain].vistarait.com, where [yourSubdomain] is the Vistara subdomain for your organization. IdP-initiated flows and Just In Time (JIT) provisioning are not supported.
