How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Vena

1. Login to your Vena account as an administrator.

2. Navigate to Admin > Policies, then on the left-hand side select Single Sign On. Then under Authentication check SAML Single Sign-On and enter the following (see screenshot at the end of step for reference):

   • Subdomain: Configure your subdomain (clientname). This creates a subdomain on vena.io, such as clientname.vena.io.

   • SSO URL: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Identifier: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Cert: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Click Save.

   

3. Done!

Notes:

The following attributes are supported:

• user.firstName

• user.lastName

• user.email

IdP-initiated flows and Just In Time (JIT) provisioning are supported.

SP-initiated flows are not supported.
