How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Tines

Read this before you enable SAML

Enabling SAML affects all users who use this application, which means that users will not be able to sign in through their regular log in page. They will only be able to access the app through the Okta service.

Backup URL

Tines does not provide a backup login URL where users can sign-in using their normal username and password. You can contact Tines Support (support@tines.io) to turn off SAML, if necessary.

Supported Features

The Okta/Tines SAML integration currently supports the following features:

SP-initiated SSO
IdP-initiated SSO

Configuration Steps

Contact the Tines Support team (support@tines.io) and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.
Include the following information with your request:
- Login URL/SignOn URL: Copy and paste the following:
  
  Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.
- x509 Certificate: Copy and paste the following in PEM Text Format:

The Tines Support team will process your request. After receiving a confirmation email, you can start assigning people to the application.
