Read this before you enable SAML
Enabling SAML will affect all users who use this application, which means that users will not be able to sign-in through their regular log-in page. They will only be able to access the app through the Okta service.
Backup URL
Sonar does not provide backup log-in URL where users can sign-in using their normal username and password. You can contact Sonar support to turn off SAML, if necessary.
The Okta/Sonar SAML integration currently supports the following features:
In Okta, select the General tab for the Sonar app.
Scroll down to the Embed link section and save that value.
Contact the Sonar Support team (contact@sendsonar.com) and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account. Also ask them to provide you with a Custom ID value.
Include the following information with your request:
Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.
The Embed link value you saved in step 2.
The Sonar Support team will process your request and provide you with your Custom ID value.
In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Sonar SAML app, then click Edit.
Scroll down to the ADVANCED SIGN-ON SETTINGS.
Enter your Custom ID (step 5) value into the corresponding field.
Click Save.
Done!
Go to: https://www.sendsonar.com/login/[customId], where [customId] is your Custom ID provided to you by Sonar (step 5).
Enter your Email.
Click Log in:
