How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Simppler

1. Contact the Simppler Support team at support@simppler.com and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

2. Include the following IDP Metadata with your request:

   Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

3. The Simppler Support team will process your request and will provide you with their URL in the following format:

   https://app.simppler.com/auth/saml/sso/[customer-uid]

4. In Okta, select the General tab for the Simppler app, then click Edit.

   • Enter the customer-uid provided by Simppler into the UID field.

   • Click Save.

   

5. Done!

Notes:

SP-initiated flows, IDP-initiated flows, and Just In Time (JIT) provisioning are all supported.

The following attributes are supported:

• user.firstName

• user.lastName

• user.userName

• user.title

• user.city

• user.state

• user.department

For SP-inititated Flows:

1. Go to https://www.simppler.com/home, then click Log In:

   

2. Enter your email address, then click Email me a link to sign in:
