How to Configure SAML 2.0 for SimpleLegal

Supported Features

The Okta/SimpleLegal SAML integration currently supports the following features:


Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the SimpleLegal Support team (help@simplelegal.com) and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Provide the following information with your request:

    • SignOn URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

    • x509 Certificate: Copy and paste the following certificate in PEM Text Format:

      Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.
  3. The SimpleLegal Support team will process your request and will provide you with a Connection Name value.

  4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the SimpleLegal app, then click Edit.

    • Enter the Connection Name value provided to you by SimpleLegal into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save.

  5. Done!

Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:

SP-initiated SSO

  1. Go to: https://[your-subdomain].simplelegal.com/accounts/login/sso/.

  2. Enter your email address, then click Sign In.
