How to Configure SAML 2.0 for ShareVault

  1. Login to ShareVault as an administrator.

  2. Navigate to Admin > SSO.

  3. Enter the following (see screenshot at end of step for reference):

    • ID Provider: Select Okta.

    • IDP Metadata URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

    • IDP Login URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Name of IDP Apps Page: Enter Okta Login

    • Optional: Check Use SSO by default for new users.

    • Click Save:

  4. Navigate to the Users & Groups tab.

  5. Select SSO for required users:

  6. Done!

Notes:

IdP-initiated flows and SP-initiated flows are supported.

Just In Time (JIT) provisioning is not supported.

For SP-initiated Flows

Open the following URL: https://www.sharevault.net/panajax/index.jsp?et=ssobe&svid=[yourShareVaultId].

To obtain your ShareVaultId:

Login to ShareVault and look at the URL. It contains the following string: svid=XXXX, where XXXX is your ShareVaultId.
