How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Reputation

The Okta/Reputation.com SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the Reputation.com Support team at support@reputation.com and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Save,then attach the following Metadata file to your request:

    Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

  3. The Reputation.com Support team will process your request and will provide you with the Organization ID, locationCode, and role values.

  4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Reputation.com SAML app, then click Edit:

    • Enter the Organization ID value provided to you by Reputation.com into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save:

  5. Now you have to add two custom attributes (locationCode, role) to the app. Still in Okta, navigate to Directory > Profile Editor:

  6. Search for your Reputation.com app, then click the Profile edit button:

  7. Click Add Attribute, then enter the following information:

    • Display name: Enter locationCode.

    • Variable name: Enter locationCode.

    • Click Save:

    NOTE:

    Scope: If you check user personal, the current attribute will be available once you assign a single user to the Reputation.com app and will not be available once you assign a group to the Reputation.com app.

  8. Repeat step 7 by adding the second custom attribute (role). For the Display name and Variable name, enter role.

  9. Once you have completed the steps above, you should see a similar list to what is shown below:

  10. Go back to the Reputation.com app, assign the user and enter the locationCode, role values provided to you by Reputation.com (step 3) into the corresponding fields:
