How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Process Plan

The Okta/Process Plan SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Login to your Process Plan account.

  2. Click on your icon, then select Administration > Account Information:

  3. Select Enable SSO:

  4. Click CONFIGURE SINGLE SIGN-ON:

  5. Enter the following:

    • Provider Description: Enter Okta.

    • IDP Issuer/Entity ID: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Name ID Formal: Copy and paste the following:

      urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:emailAddress
    • Sign on URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Logout URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Digest Method: Enter SHA-256.

    • Signature Method: Enter SHA-256.

    • Upload Certificate: Download and save, then upload the following certificate:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • In the SAML attributes section, enter the following:

      • Make a copy of the Account Id value.

      • Email: Enter emailaddress.

      • Firstname: Enter firstname.

      • Lastname: Enter lastname.

  6. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Process Plan SAML app, then click Edit.

    • Enter the Account Id value you made a copy of in step 5 into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save.

  7. Done!


Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:

SP-initiated SSO
