Supported Features

The Okta/Pivotal Tracker SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Send an email message to Pivotal Tracker at tracker@pivotal.io and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your organization.

2. Include the following with your request:

   • IDP Metadata: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign in to Okta Admin app to have this variable generated for you.

3. Pivotal Tracker will process your request and will provide you with a Default Relay State.

• In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Pivotal Tracker app, then click Edit.

• Enter the Default Relay State into the corresponding field, in the following format:

  {"account_id":######}

• Click Save.



4. Done!

Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported.

Name	Value
email	user.email
fist_name	user.firstName
last_name	user.lastName
id	user.id

For SP-initiated SSO

1. Open the following login page: https://www.pivotaltracker.com/signin

2. Enter your Email address.

3. Click NEXT.
