How to Configure SAML 2.0 for ParkMyCloud

Supported Features

The Okta/ParkMyCloud SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Sign in to ParkMyCloud as an administrator.

  2. Go to Settings > Single Sign-On (SSO) with SAML:

  3. Select an option from the Single sign-on dropdown menu, one of:

    • Allowed for all users.

    • Required for all users except admins.

    Note: In our example, we used Allowed for all users.

  4. Optional: Click Change link:

    Enter a preferred unique name for your organization.

  5. Do the following:

    • Make a copy of the User login URL and SP ACS URL values.

    • Optional: Initial team: Select your initial team (users automatically provisioned by SSO will be initially added to this team).

    • IdP: Leave this as Custom.

    • IdP configuration: Select Automatic from IdP metadata URL from the dropdown menu.

    • IdP metadata URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

    • Click Save Changes.

  6. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the ParkMyCloud SAML app, then click Edit.

    • Enter your SP ACS URL value (step 5) into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save:

  7. Done!

Go to the User login URL you made a copy of in step 5.
