How to Configure SAML 2.0 for PageTiger

The Okta/PageTiger SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the PageTiger Support team at support@pagetiger.com and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Include the following information with your request:

    • Copy and save the following metadata as metadata.xml and attach it to your request.

      Sign in to Okta Admin app to have this variable generated for you.
    • Optional: Request the ability to enable force authentication.

  3. Wait for the SAML configuration confirmation from the PageTiger Support team.

  4. Login to PageTiger as an administrator.

  5. Navigate to PUBLICATIONS > SETTINGS > SECURITY RULE SETS:

  6. Click Add New:

  7. Enter the following:

    • Name: Enter Okta Single Sign-on.

    • Check the Default box if you want to assign this security rule to the new publications by default:

  8. Select the SSO tab, then enter the following:

    • Single Sign-On: Select the Okta Single Sign-on service created by PageTiger support team.

    • Click Save Changes:

  9. If you want to assign the Okta Single Sign-on security rule for an existing publication, do the following:

    • Navigate to the PageTiger home page.

    • Select Manage for a required publication:

    • Click Publication Settings:

    • Select the Security Rules tab.

    • Select Okta Single Sign-on for the Current Security Rule Set.

    • Click Save Changes:

  10. If you requested the ability to enable force authentication (step 2):

    • In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the PageTiger app, then click Edit.

    • Uncheck the Disable Force Authentication box.

    • Click Save:

SP-initiated Flows

Open the Publication Link for a required publication (found on the Manage publication page):
