How to Configure SAML 2.0 for OpsGenie

Supported Features

The Okta/OpsGenie SAML integration currently supports the following features:


Configuration Steps

  1. Sign into OpsGenie as an Admin.
  2. In OpsGenie, go to the Settings tab, as shown below:

  3. Click Single Sign-on on the screen that opens, then click Okta:

  4. In the screen that opens, copy and paste the following SAML 2.0 Endpoint, as shown in the following step.

    Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

  5. Copy and paste the following x.509 Certificate, as shown below.

  6. Click Save Changes, as shown above. Make a copy of the Single sign on URL that displays.
  7. In Okta, on the General tab for the OpsGenie app in the App Settings section, paste the Single sign on URL that you copied in the previous step into the Post Back URL field, as shown below.

  8. Click Save Changes.
  9. Done!


Notes

For SP-initiated SSO

  1. Go to: https://app.opsgenie.com/auth/ssoLogin.

  2. Enter your email address, then click LOG IN:
