How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Ontrack Workflow

The Okta/Ontrack Workflow SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the Ontrack Workflow Support team at support@ontrackworkflow.com and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your organization. Also ask them to provide you with your Company ID value.

  2. Include the following Metadata URL with your request:

    Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

  3. The Ontrack Workflow Support team will process your request and provide you with your Company ID value.

  4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Ontrack Workflow SAML app, then click Edit.

    • Enter the following Default Relay State value:

      https://sites.ontrackworkflow.com/ontrack-saml/?saml_sso=[yourCompanyId]

      Where: yourCompanyId is the value provided to you by Ontrack Workflow (step 3).

      For example: If your Company ID value is acme, then your Default Relay State value is:

      https://sites.ontrackworkflow.com/ontrack-saml/?saml_sso=acme

      ontrack1

    • Scroll down to the ADVANCED SIGN-ON SETTINGS section.

    • Enter the Company ID value from step 3 into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save.

  5. Done!

Open the following URL: https://sites.ontrackworkflow.com/ontrack-saml/?saml_sso=[yourCompanyId]

Where: yourCompanyId is the value from step 3.
