Supported Features

The Okta/Observable Networks SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Send an email to Observable Networks and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

2. Provide the following with your email:

   • LoginURL/SignOn URL: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • x509 Certificate: Cut and paste the following (PEM Text Format):

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

3. Observable Networks will inform you when SAML has been enabled, and will provide you with a Connection Name.

4. Done!

Notes

• Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Connection Name field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to ObservableNetworks.




• The following SAML attributes are supported:
