How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Motivosity

Before you begin

Read this before you enable SAML

The Motivosity application is pre-configured to pass the custom attributes as part of the SAML assertion.

The following attributes are supported:

Display Name Variable Name Data Type
MV Birth Date mvBirthDate datetime
MV Hire Date mvHireDate datetime
MV Is Admin mvIsAdmin boolean
MV Payroll ID mvPayrollId string
MV Manager Email mvManagerEmail string

Standard Universal Directory user fields:

  • firstName
  • lastName
  • email
  • title
  • nickName
  • primaryPhone
  • department

    1. Send an email to Motivosity Support (support@motivosity.com) and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

    2. Attach the following IDP Metadata:

       
    3. Motivosity will process your request. After receiving a confirmation email, you can start assigning people to the application..

    4. Done!


      Notes:

      IdP-initiated flows and Just In Time (JIT) provisioning are supported.

      SP-initiated flows are not supported.
