How to Configure SAML 2.0 for MobileIron Core

The Okta/MobileIron Core SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Sign in to your MobileIron Core account.

  2. Navigate to Security > Advanced > SAML, then enable SAML:

  3. Do the following:

    • Download and save the following file as metadata.xml:

      Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

    • Export Metadata file from IdP and import to MobileIron Core: Click Choose File and locate and upload the file you just saved.

  4. Once the metadata is updated, click Apply:

  5. Done!

Notes

Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Core Address field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to MobileIron Core.
