Supported Features

The Okta/MangoApps SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Sign in to MangoApps as an Administrator.
2. Go to Single Sign-On (SSO) > Connections > SAML, then click Add SSO Connection.

3. Enter the following:

   • Select Okta.
   • Name: Enter Okta.
   • JIT user provisioning (optional): Check to enable JIT.
   • Metadata: Click Read from URL then copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

4. Click Save.
5. Done!

Notes

Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Domain field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to MangoApps.

SP-initiated SSO

1. Go to: https://[your-domain].mangoapps.com/u
2. Click Single Sign On (SSO).
