How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Logit


Read this before you enable SAML

Enabling SAML will affect all users who use this application, which means that users will not be able to sign in through their regular sign-in page. They will only be able to access the app through the Okta service.

Backup URL

Logit does not provide a backup sign-in URL where users can sign in using their username and password. You can call Logit support to turn off SAML, if necessary.

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the Logit Support team and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Include the following data with your request:

    • Sign In URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

    • Certificate: Download, save, then attach the following file:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

  3. The Logit Support team will process your request and provide you with an Account ID value.

  4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Logit SAML app, then click Edit.

    • Enter your Account ID value provided by Logit into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save:

SP-initiated SSO

  1. Go to: https://logit.io/sign-in

  2. Click Single Sign On:

    go to https://logit.io/sign-in, click Single Sign On

  3. Enter your company email address, then click Sign In:
