How to Configure SAML 2.0 for LeaseEagle


Read this before you enable SAML

Enabling SAML affects all users who use this application, which means that users will not be able to sign in through their regular log in page. They will only be able to access the app through the Okta service.

Backup URL

LeaseEagle does not provide a backup login URL where users can sign-in using their normal username and password. If users want to revert back to using their username and password to sign-in, LeaseEagle account admins can enable/disable SAML per user.

Supported Features

The Okta/LeaseEagle SAML integration currently supports the following features:


Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the LeaseEagle Support team support@leaseeagle.com and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your organization.

  2. Include the following information with your request:

    • IDP Metadata: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

  3. The LeaseEagle Support team will process your request and send you a confirmation once SAML has been enabled for your organization.

  4. Done!


Notes

Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Subdomain field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to LeaseEagle.
