How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Kudos

The Okta/Kudos SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Sign in to Kudos.

  2. Click the gear icon, then select Account:

  3. Go to Integration > Single Sign-On, then click Connect:

  4. Enter the following:

    • SSO Identifier: Select an identifier.

    • Sign on URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • x.509 certificate: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • SSO Authn Context: Select Password Protected Transport.

    • Service Provider Issuer: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Logout to URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Click Save:

    Enter SAML config values

  5. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Kudos SAML app, then click Edit.

    • SAML Name ID: Select your Name ID value.

    • Click Save:

  6. Done!

Notes

Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Subdomain field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to Kudos.
