Supported Features

The Okta/IRBManager SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Contact the IRBManager Support team (support@irbmanager.com) and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

2. Save, then attach the following Metadata file to your request:

   Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

3. The IRBManager Support team will process your request and will provide you with the Audience URI value.

4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the IRBManager app, then click Edit.

   • Enter the Audience URI value you received from IRBManager into the corresponding field.

   • Click Save:

   

5. Done!

Notes

• Make sure that you entered the correct value in the attribute_name field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to IRBManager.

• The following SAML attributes are supported:

  Name	Value
  givenName	user.firstName
  sn	user.lastName
  mail	user.email
  eppn	user.login
