Supported Features

The Okta/Hootsuite SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• IdP-initiated SSO
• SP-initiated SSO

Configuration Steps

1. Contact the Hootsuite Support team and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

2. Include the following information with your request:

   • SAML login URL: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

   • Certificate: Download and attach the following file:

     Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

3. The Hootsuite Support team will process your request and will provide you with a SSO Return URL value.

4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Hootsuite app, then click Edit.

   • Enter the SSO Return URL value provided to you by Hootsuite into the corresponding field.

   • Click Save:

   
   

5. Done!
