How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Helpshift

This setup might fail without parameter values that are customized for your organization. Please use the Okta Administrator Dashboard to add an application and view the values that are specific for your organization.

Supported Features

The Okta/Helpshift SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Login to your Helpshift account.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Integration, then toggle the Single Sign-On (SAML - SSO) button to active:

  3. Enter the following:

    • Identity Provider (IdP): Select Okta.

    • SAML 2.0 Endpoint URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • X.509 Certificate: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.
    • Issuer URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Click Apply Changes.

  4. Done!


Notes

Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Subdomain field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to Helpshift.

SP-initiated SSO

  1. Go to: https://[your-subdomain].helpshift.com/login/.

  2. Click OKTA:
