How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Evident.io

Supported Features

The Okta/Evident.io SAML integration currently supports the following features:


Configuration Steps

  1. Contact Evident.io Sales and request they add your app to their services.

  2. Contact support@evident.io and request that they enable SAML for your app.

  3. Provide the following:

    • The date and time you would like Evident.io to switch to SSO.

    • The following IDP Metadata:

  4. Evident.io will process your request and send you a confirmation email letting you know it is available for testing. They will also provide you with a value for the Default Relay State.

  5. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Evident.io app, and enter the Default Relay State you received from Evident.io, as shown below:

  6. Click Save.

  7. Done!


Notes

SP-initiated SSO

  1. Go to https://esp.evident.io/users/sign_in.

  2. Click Enterprise SSO, then enter your login credentials.
