How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Everlaw

The Okta/Everlaw SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Copy the following, and save as metadata.xml.

    Sign in to Okta Admin app to have this variable generated for you.

  2. Login to your Everlaw instance as an org admin.

  3. Navigate to Organization Home > Projects & Users.

  4. In the SAML Single Sign-On section, click Upload to locate and upload metadata.xml file you saved in step 1.

  5. Select an appropriate Authentication setting. We selected Optional in our example:

  6. Done!

Notes

Make sure that you have entered the correct value in the Environment field under the General application tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to Everlaw.

For SP-initiated SSO

  1. Open the Everlaw login URL.

  2. Enter your email or username:
