Supported Features

The Okta/Dovetale SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• IdP-initiated SSO
• SP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Contact the Dovetale Support team at support@dovetale.com and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account. Also ask them to provide you with the company subdomain value.

2. Include the following information with your request:

   • Metadata URL: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

   • IDP Issuer: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

3. The Dovetale Support team will process your request and provide you with the company subdomain value. You’ll need this value for the SP-initiated SSO.

4. Done!

Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:

first_name	user.firstName
last_name	user.lastName
email	user.email

SP-initiated SSO

Open the following URL: https://[companySubdomain].dovetale.com/.

Where [companySubdomain] is the value provided to you from Dovetale (step 3).
