How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Collective Health Employer Portal

The Okta/Collective Health Employer Portal SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the Collective Health Support team at sso@collectivehealth.com and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your organization. Also ask them to provide you with the Employer ID value.

  2. Include the following with your request:

    • Metadata URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

    • Certificate: Download, save, then attach the following certificate:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

  3. The Collective Health Support team will process your request and will provide you with an Employer ID.

  4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Collective Health Employer Portal app, then click Edit.

    • Scroll down to the ADVANCED SIGN-ON SETTINGS section.

    • Enter the Employer ID value from step 3 into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save.
