Supported Features

The Okta/Chartio SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Sign in to Chartio as an Organization owner.

2. Navigate to Settings > Organization.

3. On the Organization settings page, scroll down to the Authentication section and enter the following: (see screen shot at end of step for reference):

   • For Login Methods, make sure SAML is checked.

   • SAML Entity ID: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • SAML SSO URL: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • X.509 Certificate: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Click Update.

   

4. Done!

Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:

Name	Value
Email	user.userName

SP-initiated SSO

1. Open your company login URL.

   For example if you log into https://chartio.com/acme/, then your company login URL is https://chartio.com/acme/login/.

2. Click Login with SAML.
