How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Changepoint

The Okta/Changepoint SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the Changepoint Support team and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Include the following information with your request:

    • Identity Provider Login URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign in to the Okta Admin app to generate this variable.

    • x509 Certificate: Download, save, then attach the following:

      Sign in to the Okta Admin app to generate this variable.

  3. The Changepoint Support team will process your request. After receiving a confirmation email, you can start assigning people to the application.

  4. in Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Changepoint app, then click Edit.

    • Enter [your-base-URL] value into the Default Relay State field.

    • Click Save.

  5. Done!

Notes

Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Base URL field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to Changepoint.
