Supported Features

The Okta/Carbonite Endpoint Protection SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO

Configuration Steps

1. Login to your Carbonite Endpoint Protection account.

2. Navigate to Company > Single sign-on, then click Enable:

   

3. Follow the steps below:

   • Identity provider name: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Identity provider URL: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Identity provider Certificate: Download and save, then click Choose File to select and upload the following certificate file:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

   • Click Save.

   

4. Done!

Notes

• Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Base URL field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to Carbonite Endpoint Protection.

• The following SAML attributes are supported:

  Name	Value
  email	user.userName

SP-initiated SSO

1. Go to: [your-Base-URL].

2. Enter your Email, then click Login:
