How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Built.io Flow

Supported Features

The Okta/Built.io Flow SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Login your Built.io Flow account as an account owner.

  2. Navigate to Organization > VIEW SETTINGS.

  3. Select SINGLE SIGN-ON from the left menu, then do the following:

    • Make a note of your Organization name: This is the last part of the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL.

      For example, if your ACS URL is https://flow.built.io/enterprise/v1/login/sso?org=acme, your Organization name is: acme.

    • Single Sign-on URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Entity ID: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Signature Algorithm: Select SHA-256.

    • Public Key Certificate: Download, save, then upload the following certificate:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Set a required Session Duration in Hours value.

    • Click ENABLE SSO.

  4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Built.io Flow app, then click Edit.

    • Enter the Organization name value from step 3 into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save.

  5. Done!


Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:

SP-initiated SSO

Open the following URL: https://flow.built.io/#/sso?org=[organizationName].

Where: [organizationName] is the Organization name value from step 3.
