Supported Features

The Okta/Biba Messenger SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO
• IdP-initiated SSO

Configuration Steps

1. Contact Biba Support at saml@biba.com and request that they enable SAML for your organization. Also ask them to provide you with the SSO URL value.

2. Copy and save the following IdP Metadata as metadata.xml and include it with your request.

   Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

3. Biba Support will process your request and provide you with the SSO URL value.

4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Biba Messenger app, then click Edit.

   • Scroll down to the ADVANCED SIGN-ON SETTINGS section.

   • Enter the SSO URL value into the corresponding field.

   • Click Save:

   

5. Done!

Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:

Name	Value
first_name	user.firstName
last_name	user.lastName
email	user.userName

SP-initiated SSO

Open the following URL: https://www.biba.com/auth/[yourSubDomain].okta.com.

Where [yourSubDomain] is your Okta subdomain value.
