How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Benetrac

The Okta/Benetrac SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the Benetrac support team and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Include the following information to your request:

    • Issuer: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign in to the Okta Admin app to have this variable generated for you.

    • Certificate: Download and save, then attach the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

    • Login URL: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

    • IDP Metadata: Copy and paste the following:

      Sign in to Okta Admin app to have this variable generated for you.
  3. The Benetrac support team will process your request. After receiving a confirmation email, you can start assigning people to the application.

  4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Benetrac SAML app, then click Edit:

    • Environment Type: Select either Production or Staging.

    • SiteID (optional): Enter your SiteID to be POSTed to Benetrac.

    • PartnerID (optional): Enter your PartnerID to be POSTed to Benetrac.

    • Click Save

  5. Done!
