How to Configure SAML 2.0 for AtTask

  1. Sign into the AtTask domain for your company.

  2. Select Setup in the top menu, as shown below:

  3. In the Setup menu on the left, select System > Single Sign-On, as shown below:

  4. Select Edit Settings, as shown below:

  5. On the Single Sign-On menu, select Edit Configuration, as shown below:

  6. In the Single Sign-On screen that opens, select SAML 2.0 for the Type, as shown below:

  7. Copy the following IDP Metadata into a text file. Save it with the file name metadata.xml.

    Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.
  8. Click Select Metadata XML, as shown below. Navigate to the metadata.xml file you saved when prompted.

  9. Download the following x.509 Certificate.

    Sign into the Okta Admin app to generate this variable.

  10. Select Choose File in the Certificate section, as shown below. Navigate to the certificate you just saved when prompted.

  11. Select Save, as shown below:

  12. Follow the steps in https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/articles/216671608-Updating-Users-for-SSO to change the AtTask Federated ID for all AtTask users to each user's email address.

  13. Done!
