Supported Features

The Okta/Aspera Faspex V3 SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• IdP-initiated SSO
• SP-initiated SSO
• JIT (Just In Time) Provisioning

Configuration Steps

1. Contact your Aspera Faspex administrators, or follow the Aspera Faspex Admin Guide to enable SAML 2.0 integration.

2. Follow the instructions here to configure SAML integration with Okta on Aspera's side.

3. Use the following IdP Metadata:

   Sign in to Okta Admin app to have this variable generated for you.

4. Done!

Notes

• Make sure that you entered the correct value in the Domain or Base URL field under the General tab in Okta. Using the wrong value will prevent you from authenticating via SAML to Aspera Faspex V3.

• The following SAML attributes are supported:

  Name	Value
  email	user.email
  given_name	user.firstName
  id	user.login
  surname	user.lastName
